NUPROs Triple Action Antioxidant + is a great source of fre radical scavengers

The most celebrated effects of ProanthoCyanidin Oligomers (PCO), also known as pycnogenol in the United States, are its potent antioxidant and free radical scavenging effects. Antioxidant and free radical scavengers prevent free radical or "oxidative" damage. Free radical damage has been linked to the aging process and virtually every chronic degenerative condition.

The overwhelming majority of the published clinical and experimental studies over the past twenty years have been performed on the grape seed extract not the extract of pine bark. Only the PCO extracted from grape seed is approved for medicinal use in France.

Studies by Professor Masquelier (the holder of patents for both pine bark and grape seed extracts) and others have demonstrated that the grape seed extract is substantially more potent and effective compared to the extract of pine bark. The reason? Only the grape seed extract contains the gallic esters of proanthocyanidins. They are not present in the pine bark extract, but are found in the PCO extract from the grape seed.

Grape seed extract contains a total of 92% to 95% proanthocyanidins while the pine bark extracts vary from 80% to 85%.

While the therapeutic potential of PCOs is quite broad due to its antioxidant activity, PCOs are used in Europe primarily in the treatment of venous and capillary disorders including venous insufficiency, varicose veins, capillary fragility and vascular disorders of the retina.

Triple Action Antioxidant+ contains a synergistic combination of:
Grape Seed Concentrate
(95% pycnogenol):
Protects against cellular damage caused by free radicals, supports joint flexibility, endurance, vision and the cardiovascular system.
Bioflavonoids (citrus): Helps with absorption of vitamin C, supports capillary permeability and flexibilty.
Vitamin C: Required for tissue growth and repair, adrenal gland function and healthy gums. Supports immune system function and is essential in the formation of collagen. Aids in interferon production, metabolism of Folic Acid, Tyrosine and Phenylalanine.

Suggested Use: As a dietary supplement to support good health. As a preventative measure, 40 to 50 mg of grape seed extract is suitable. When greater support is desired, 150 to 300 mg may be helpful, or as directed by a health professional.
